Arthur C. & Maud Louden House, c. 1917

The flat roof and wide eaves give a Prairie Style feel to this Craftsman house. It was probably designed by someone in the "Louden Architectural Department".

The rear of the house was remodeled recently, but doesn't detract from the design.

Arthur Louden was president of the "Louden Machinery Company" from 1952 to 1953, when the family divested its interests. Enlarge.

R. R. & Antoinette Louden House
905 E. Adams Ave.

This Colonial-Revival house was designed by Gene Fleming, a member of the "Louden Machinery Company Architectural Department." It represents the Louden influence on local architecture.

(The garage on the left side was added about 1982).

Roy started work in 1913 and was head of the Industrial Conveying Division by the 1940's. Enlarge
