Fairfield Arts & Convention Center, Fairfield Iowa.
The Fairfield Arts and Convention Center opened in 2007 and is an interesting retreat by day and the jewel of Fairfield by night. The Center is home to the Stephen Sondheim Center for the Performing Arts, the first building in the United States to be named for celebrated composer/lyricist Stephen Sondheim. The theater features an intimate 522-seat proscenium theater. In 2017 the statue of Lee Gobble was erected in front of the building. Details from the FACC website.
