Construction: Spring/Summer/Fall 2011, Northwest segment of the Loop Trail
Bob Brown Construction, who incidentally built the trail segment from Chautauqua Park North to Walton parking lot, began removing all top soil and organic material from the road and hillside. Bob will complete work to Grimes Ave, and J & L Construction takes it from there to 8th & Gear.
The area being worked on at Brookville Road is so wide because it must accommodate both the Loop Trail and the city's road into their lift station.
(May 2011) Work starts on the Northwest segment of the Loop Trail, on the east side of Brookville Road, just north of Hwy Business 34. (rb)

(06-24-11) Looking west towards the under-construction Brookville Bridge. A culvert will be installed where you see water
and there will be adequate fill put in so the slope down the grade and back up to Brookville Rd won't be too steep. (rb)

(08-07-11) Construction continues.
